The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Soldiers Group

From the very beginning of Campaign 4, recently appointed game master Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with deep backstory, a wide array of personalities, and a exciting storyline featuring divine entities, demons, and dark forces increasing in power within Dol-Makjar.

Heads-up: Key plot points for the latest installment of Campaign 4 follow below.

The Combat-Oriented Party Revealed

The third episode finished on a huge suspense moment and introduced the first table of adventurers who will branch out from the main group to embark on their separate journey, separate from the additional parties.

This warrior group features Teor (brought to life by the voice actor), the agile character (Laura Bailey), Tyranny (Whitney Moore), the cleric (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan Vale (the actor).

Dividing the Cast

With 13 cast members, it was clear from the beginning that keeping everyone at one table would be unworkable.

That’s why, the first four episodes of Campaign 4 serve as an Introduction, connecting the individual narratives before branching into three distinct groups: Soldiers, Strategists, and Explorers.

What Defines the Warrior Group

Per the DM, the Soldiers table is for adventurers who are drawn to a typically action-packed combat and conflict-driven gameplay experience where non-violent answers are rare.

At first glance, characters like the hesitant healer Wicander might appear out of place, but the events of the latest installment make it clear why these particular heroes are best suited for the warrior group.

Reasons to Leave

For one thing, the party understands precisely where to head next after a brutal opening clash with the enemy group.

A former ally of Thjazi—whose death started the narrative’s action—manipulated The Crow Keepers for his selfish purposes, entering the secret base, striking the character, and stealing all the powerful objects to auction.

The antagonist then cleared his debts and escaped to a Halovar stronghouse in Gormalay, Timmony, beyond the urban center, with Cyd close behind.

Personal Motivations

Moreover, each character has a individual motive to leave the city Dol-Makjar:

  • The rogue, as the companion and closest confidant, seeks vengeance.
  • Kattigan is familiar with the northern area and warns that it is a dangerous place.
  • Tyranny and Wicander, having resisted his family’s wishes to kill the fighter and instead rescued him, have no safe haven.
  • But, their position as important members in House Halovar could assist the group reach locations they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Furthermore, The grateful character vowed a eternal obligation to The savior for his salvation and will now accompany him everywhere.

Pursued by Authorities

In addition, all of them are wanted by the authorities that govern the setting for a variety of reasons, making remaining behind no longer safe:

  • The agile adventurer and The hero are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The warrior and The cleric defied the influential house and the army of fiends they are aligned with.
  • The fighter is marked for death by the clan.

This results in them little choice but to head to the remote area in search of the traitor.

What’s Next?

Based on episode three’s post-show segment, we learn that the Soldiers table will be absent next week, leaving the remaining eight cast members to round up the Seekers and Planners parties.

Audiences can expect learning which players will be where in the season’s concluding setup installment, available to watch on next week.
